Vehicles we accept in Wyoming

Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs — running or not, clean title or complicated.

At Wheels for Wishes, we believe in the power of generosity! That's why we accept nearly any vehicle, whether it's drivable or not. From cars to trucks, motorcycles to boats, your unwanted vehicle can be a blessing for our local community. Each donation helps fund essential services that connect Wyoming residents with vital programs like SNAP and Medicaid. If you have a vehicle taking up space, consider turning it into a gift that can make a real difference. Join us in supporting our neighbors in need.

Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1995-present

Most cars are sold at auction, fetching great prices that directly contribute to funding local assistance programs. Some vehicles may be recycled if they are too damaged to sell.

In Wyoming, cars are essential for getting around. Your old sedan could help a neighbor access job opportunities or medical appointments.

Pickup Trucks
1995-present

Pickup trucks often bring in higher bids at auctions due to their demand. If they don't sell, they can be dismantled for parts, supporting local mechanics.

With Wyoming's rugged terrain, pickup trucks are a staple. Your old truck can help provide someone a means to travel to work or haul supplies.

SUVs & Crossovers
1995-present

SUVs and crossovers are typically auctioned off when in good condition, while non-running models can be recycled or used for parts.

Families in Wyoming love the space SUVs provide, especially for weekend adventures. Your donation can help families get out and explore our beautiful state.

Motorcycles
1995-present

Motorcycles are frequently auctioned. If in poor shape, they can be sold for parts to keep other bikes on the roads.

Many Wyomingites enjoy the freedom of the open road on a motorcycle. Your old bike might fund someone’s next adventure.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs and campers can often be sold at auction as recreational vehicles, while non-running units may be dismantled for parts.

With Wyoming's stunning national parks, RVs are a common sight. Your old camper could help families create lasting memories in nature.

Boats
1995-present

Boats that are in good condition are auctioned, but those that are not can be recycled or broken down for parts.

While we may not have a coast, Wyoming's lakes and rivers offer great fishing. Your old boat can help others enjoy our scenic waterways.

Commercial Vehicles
1995-present

Commercial vehicles are often auctioned to businesses looking for a deal, while those that are not operational may be dismantled.

Local businesses in Wyoming can greatly benefit from your donated vehicle, whether it’s a work truck or a van, providing them with crucial transportation.

Non-running Vehicles
No restrictions

These vehicles can be towed and recycled or sold for parts, ensuring that even a junk car can provide assistance.

Even vehicles that don't run can give back. In Wyoming, many residents face challenges accessing assistance, and your donation can help bridge that gap.

Condition guide

At Wheels for Wishes, we accept vehicles in a variety of conditions. Running vehicles are often sold at auction, providing significant funds for our community programs. Non-running vehicles are also welcome; they may be towed and recycled or sold for parts, ensuring that they still contribute to our mission.

However, there are a few conditions to keep in mind. Vehicles with salvage titles are accepted, and those that are rebuilt or reconstructed may also qualify. If you have a lienholder present, please get in touch with us. We evaluate each situation individually, and we’re here to help you navigate the donation process.
