In Wyoming, many families enjoy the great outdoors, often traveling in their RVs or motorhomes. Perhaps you’ve spent countless weekends camping in a Class A Fleetwood or made road trips in a Class C Thor, filled with laughter and adventure. However, life changes; those cherished moments may lead you to consider parting with your beloved recreational vehicle. Whether it's due to increased storage costs or simply not using it as much anymore, donating your RV can be a fulfilling way to give back.
At Wheels for Wishes, we understand how important your RV is to you. When you donate an RV or motorhome, you aren't just freeing up space or saving on storage fees—you're providing hope and support to children in need. Your donation will help fund wishes for children battling critical illnesses, creating positive experiences that can change their lives forever.

How pickup works
Each RV and motorhome donation requires specialized pickup logistics to ensure smooth transportation. Our team will coordinate the pickup using either a flatbed or drive-away service, suitable for the size and weight of your vehicle. For drivers not on site, we often utilize storage-lot pickups, which means you'll need to arrange with the RV park or storage facility in advance. Keep in mind that clearance routing varies by state, and most states, including Wyoming, require a maximum height of 13'6”. We're here to manage the logistics while you enjoy the satisfaction of knowing your vehicle is making a difference.
What drives donation value
The value of your RV or motorhome donation is influenced by several factors, most notably the condition of the house systems. Key areas of focus include the roof, slides, plumbing, and air conditioning units. A well-maintained RV with recent service records can significantly increase its value, while signs of water damage may lead to major devaluation. Additionally, the seasonality of the donation can affect value; spring auctions tend to yield the highest returns. If your RV is classified as a classic, an appraisal will be necessary to determine its worth, especially for IRS purposes using Form 8283 Section B.
